Running club track meet

Last night the 4th and 5th graders from Goshen Schools running clubs had their annual track meet. Wyatt competed in the 200, medley relay (I didn’t know it existed either!), and the 400. He placed first in the 200! Nice work Wyatt. He is in the yellow shirt, by the way.

The final event, the 400. He was getting tired!

Recent updates

Wyatt has been learning economics at school. Different groups of kids formed businesses and sold things. Wyatt’s group sold Duck Tape purses, flip-flops, and wallets. Wyatt was the maker of the purses, flip-flops, and wallets. Here are some of his wares! You’ll have to ask him if he is still taking orders.

Cade went to a “sleep-over” birthday party last night for a friend. He said he did get a couple hours of sleep…but he just couldn’t stay awake this afternoon. Frank enjoyed a nap as well (until the camera showed up).

Friday afternoon Lincoln and I purchased a cup for him so he could be a catcher at his baseball games (his brothers have cups, so why shouldn’t he. Wouldn't want to get hit in the crotch!) He wore that thing all Friday night and couldn’t wait to put in on for practice Saturday morning. He even told some of his teammates that he was wearing a cup at practice. Ha! This afternoon he was so pumped to try out the catcher’s gear. I think I’ve found my catcher for the season.

Lincoln thought it was cold, and didn’t swim long. There was a strong breeze blowing in off the sound.
