Brother’s Day??

On Mother’s day the boys decided there should be a holiday for kids, specifically brothers. So…Brother’s Day was born. They drew names and wanted to spend their own money on presents for each other. But when to celebrate? After much internal debate, they decided to celebrate this weekend. Lincoln couldn’t wait to open his present until tomorrow, so we had a short celebration tonight! We'll see if this becomes an annual day.

Baseball again

Cade had his 4th(?) game of the season. He is happy to report a win!

After years of waiting Lincoln finally took the field at high noon!




Wyatt’s game started off good. Wyatt had a hit and scored a run. Then in the top of the second, it started to sprinkle, then pour! There were two or three inches of water at the batter’s box and the 1st and 3rd base lines. Needless to say, the game was called off. Whew, what a day at the ball fields (by the way, it was picture day too!)

Lincoln Field trip & Cade track meet

Lincoln’s CCYC class to a field trip to Hacienda and then got to bowl! For some unknown reason, they didn’t let the parents tour the kitchen. I wonder why…?!

Goshen schools 4th and 5th graders had a track day Friday afternoon. Cade competed in the 4x100 relay, long jump and 100m dash. He placed second in the long jump and 1st in the 100m dash! With this determination, you can see why.
